The End FGM/C Network Members

The End FGM Canada Network members are survivors, individuals and civil society organizations active in the movement to end Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting. The Network unites members and stakeholders across Canada to share knowledge and foster collaboration within the field of FGM/ C, with a focus on creating platforms for engagement and offering trauma-informed culturally sensitive tools to enable frontline professionals to address FGM/C in Canadian communities.  We also work with our international partners to advance the discourse and human rights battle to end FGM/C worldwide.

Why Join The End FGM/C Network?

As a member of our The End FGM/C Network, we will provide you with the following opportunities:

• A quarterly newsletter containing Network updates and information on the latest news regarding FGM/C in Canada and worldwide; 

• Invitations to educational webinars on FGM/C as either speakers/participants or as attendees;

• Access to a network of professionals engaged in FGM/C-related human rights issues;

• Access to online training modules and webinars on how to safeguard girls at risk of FGM/C and how to support impacted women in Canada;

• The opportunity to co-create and collaborate with other Network members on working groups, campaigns, resources, and days of action;

• Access to an End FGM/C Social Media Kit to help promote education and awareness on the issue of FGM/C in Canada;

• Opportunities to have your own organization’s events and materials shared and promoted with a larger community.

• Membership voting rights: only Canadian citizens and those who regularly reside in Canada can vote. For example, if you live in Canada for at least 6 months out of the year, you have voting privileges.
